Great Homemade SOUPS

A Cook’s Collection

Review

Great Homemade SOUPS A Cook's Collection GiveawayI love Soups, how about you?  My problem has been to find the right seasonings to make the soup just pop!  I’ve had trouble with seasoning my soups all my life and when I was given the chance to review, Great Homemade SOUPS A Cook’s Collection, I couldn’t say no.    Chef Paul Gayler has made a book that will help anyone make a killer soup.  Whether you are in the mood for a warming, comforting or summertime light soup, this book has a recipe for you. There is even a section on fruit soups…which as a kid I use to eat over toast or waffles. I LOVE this soup cookbook!

The soup I chose to make was pasta e fagioli and you can find my recipe and review of that soup here.

Great Homemade SOUPS A Cook's Collection Giveaway

If you love making soups and stocks this book is a must!  Great Homemade SOUPS A Cook’s Collection is a lovely hardback 9 x 11 cookbook.    The photo’s in it are worth the price of this book alone.  The knowledge you will take away, not on just creating a fabulous soup, but on how to make broths and consommés,  how to make smooth and creamy soups, how to make chilled soup and so much more including garnishes is just priceless.

If you are dairy-free and or gluten-free there are lots of choices in this book.  There is some dairy but I have replaced cream with coconut milk and it works just fine.   So play around with some of the recipes and you may just find a couple more being posted on my Easy One Pot Meals Recipes.  There are so many good soups in this book!

One lucky reader will win one copy of Great Homemade SOUPS A Cook’s Collection!

This is open to US only and ends  March 7 at 11:59 PM EST.

This Giveaway is OVER.

You can buy the book here:
