I’ve never been a fan of the purple blob in the can, lol. But I do like cranberry juice, so I bet fresh cranberry sauce might be good.

My favorite side dish is bread stuffing. I have never made cranberry (I love the stuff in a can! LOL) but I might try it this year since we are having people over.

Sounds like a really easy recipe for making homemade cranberry sauce. And you can’t have Thanksgiving with the cranberry sauce!

I love this real cranberry sauce. Unfortunately, my hubby likes the gelatinous stuff in a can. Every couple of years I make the real stuff, and use the leftover sauce in muffins or a Cranberry loaf.

This is a simple and easy way to change up the cranberry sauce without making anyone feel that they aren’t getting their traditional style favorite – but it makes enough of a difference to seem new and exciting!

Do you need to cook this the day of Thanksgiving or can you cook it the day before and keep it in the fridge?
