Gluten Free healthy snacks are hard to find in the store. And the ones that I do find sometimes taste like cardboard. I am always looking for recipes that are quick to make and healthy snacks. Gwen is sharing this Gluten Free recipe for No Bake Granola Bars! YUM. Thanks Gwen.

No Bake Granola Bars

These no bake granola bars are an easy to make sweet treat.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup honey or corn syrup or molasses or maple syrup
  • 1 cup peanut butter
  • 7 cups Packaged Granola I used Pure Blend Granola
  • If you don't have packaged granola create a mixture with 5 cups Granola Base* and 2 cups Nut Base** Ideas * Below
  • 1 cup Cherry Craisins can also use raisins,dried blueberries, etc.
  • *Granola Base Options
  • Gluten Free Granola
  • Gluten Free Oats
  • Gluten Free Cereal
  • **Nut Base
  • Almonds
  • Pecans
  • Walnuts
  • Sunflower Seeds
  • Flax Seeds

Instructions

  • In a medium saucepan, heat honey until it is a smooth liquid.
  • Bring to a simmer and let simmer until foam bubbles form on top.
  • Stir in Peanut Butter until mixture is smooth.
  • Mix in Granola and cover completely
  • Add dried fruit and mix in.
  • Pour mixture into 9 x 13 pan and spread evenly.
  • Press down into pan and make sure it sticks together.
  • Let sit out and cool and bars will harden.
  • They will be chewy as they are not processed with preservatives.

  1. These sound really. I don’t have any particular need for dairy/gluten free myself, but I have a friend who does. I think I’ll recommend these to them.
