Being a grandparent, school days kind of slip me by now except for noticing all the school busses out practice driving before school starts. That is my reminder keep an eye out for kids in streets.

My grandkids homeschool so they don’t go through the same things other kids do who have to buy all the stuff needed for their locker space in school. Plus school clothes are a needed item. My grandkids can still wear their normal summer stuff and it’s super easy. But it isn’t easy on their mom! Having to get a school program lined up and having the kids home all day.

Although I think maybe kids miss contact with all the other school kids. Maybe times have changed and that isn’t as important since everyone has cell phones and constantly are in contact with each other that way.
