I’m glad you stopped by for our Berry Good $15 Amazon eGift Card Giveaway! I am so excited because our grand-kids are coming back to Alaska with us ! We are in Tennessee right now visiting family. The grand-kids will be coming back with us and staying a whole month in Alaska! They are as thrilled as I am. There is so much to see and do where we live in Homer! Moose in our backyard, bears unfortunately too, but I love to feed the squirrels, birds and pheasants.

I am redoing my whole outside garden! We are putting in 8ftx4ft and 3ft tall Aluminum containers….6 of them. Next summer will be so much easier planting so I don’t have to bend over, sit on the ground or kneel. My new hip will thank me! I’m still be re-couping from my hip surgery and doing well. I will not be on my hands and knees picking strawberries for the freezer this year. But I did save my Strawberry plants so when the grand-kids and I get back to Alaska, I will get those berries in the ground. I told my My Daughter in Law the kids can pack as much frozen berries as they can fit for luggage going home at end of June. I have tons of raspberries and strawberries from last year. I don’t think much will be ready to pick while they are here this time. We had a horrifically cold winter and I lost over half of my perennials outside and in the greenhouse! Hopefully my grand-kids will help me plant all the new ones.
