I’m glad you stopped by for our Dad-O-Mite $15 Amazon eGift Card Giveaway! Father’s Day is over now.  Did you do anything special for Father’s Day this year?  We were pretty relaxed and since our kids live out of state I miss having a real family gathering for holiday events.

I was in Tennessee for the last couple weeks and the city of Portland, TN had just finished having a fantastic Strawberry Festival with Fireworks!   It is amazing.  If you ever visit Portland, TN you must add that to your itinerary!    In addition, they have wonderful local strawberries for sale.    Since coming back to my home in Alaska my strawberries are just in bloom.  I have a couple weeks yet before i can harvest!
