1poundhalibut filletspoached and flaked (2 cups)
½cupgluten free bread crumbs
1Tbspessence seasoningSee Recipe below
¼cupchopped green onionsgreen parts only
2tspparsley
¼cupVegenaiseor Mayo
1tspsalt
¼tspcayenne pepper
1tspdill
1beaten egg
ESSENCE SEASONING FOR THE HALIBUT PATTIES
2 ½Tbsppaprika
2Tbspsalt
2Tbspgarlic powder
1Tbsppepper
1Tbsponion powder
1Tbspcayenne pepper
1Tbsporegano
1Tbspthyme
Combine all and store in an airtight container
Instructions
Combine all ingredients, shape into 4 patties and place on a plate. Refrigerate 20 minutes. Fry patties in a skillet in olive oil until golden, 3-5 minutes per side. Serve with your favorite sauce for dipping patties or make a fabulous sandwich with your choice of gluten-free bread and accompaniments.
