Taco Seasoning Recipe, Gluten-Free and Dairy-Free

Many times they have an ingredient that really shouldn't be in there that would make me sick. I have to read, read, read everything I buy.  Because of this, I try to make mixes at home. The Taco Seasoning Recipe below is one of my very favorites

Ingredients

  • 1 teaspoon hot chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon chili powder
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons paprika
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon sea salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 1/2 teaspoon oregano
  • 1/4 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper or to taste
  • 1 pinch cayenne pepper

Instructions

  • Mix all the ingredients above listed for the Taco Seasoning and store in a sealed container.
  • Sprinkle approximately 1 -2 teaspoons over beef hamburger as you stir fry the beef to be used in tacos.
  • Makes 6.5 teaspoons. Store sealed & dry.
