Pepper Lime Tilapia

Ingredients

  • Ingredients:
  • 4 Tilapia or similar white fish filets
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 3 basil leaves finely chopped
  • 2 tsbp fresh chives finely chopped
  • 1-2 cloves garlic finely chopped
  • Juice of 1/2 lime
  • 2 tsp prepared Lemon Pepper seasoning

Instructions

  • Directions:
  • In a small bowl, combine the olive oil, chopped basil, chives, garlic, and juice of lime.
  • Carefully coat the tilapia in the mixture. I basically soak each filet in the bowl for a minute or two.
  • Sprinkle the lemon pepper seasoning on each side of the filets.
  • To cook, you have couple options. First, you could grill the filets in an aluminum foil packets. Use low heat and grill 7-10 minutes. If you would rather prepare this on the stove top, use a grill pan (or just a large saute pan) and sear it for 3-5 minutes on each side. Use medium heat.
  • Serve with fresh, seasonal vegetables or a green salad for a healthful and delicious dinner!
