No Bake Granola Bars

These no bake granola bars are an easy to make sweet treat.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup honey or corn syrup or molasses or maple syrup
  • 1 cup peanut butter
  • 7 cups Packaged Granola I used Pure Blend Granola
  • If you don't have packaged granola create a mixture with 5 cups Granola Base* and 2 cups Nut Base** Ideas * Below
  • 1 cup Cherry Craisins can also use raisins,dried blueberries, etc.

  • Gluten Free Granola
  • Gluten Free Oats
  • Gluten Free Cereal
  • **Nut Base
  • Almonds
  • Pecans
  • Walnuts
  • Sunflower Seeds
  • Flax Seeds

Instructions

  • In a medium saucepan, heat honey until it is a smooth liquid.
  • Bring to a simmer and let simmer until foam bubbles form on top.
  • Stir in Peanut Butter until mixture is smooth.
  • Mix in Granola and cover completely
  • Add dried fruit and mix in.
  • Pour mixture into 9 x 13 pan and spread evenly.
  • Press down into pan and make sure it sticks together.
  • Let sit out and cool and bars will harden.
  • They will be chewy as they are not processed with preservatives.
