These delicious Candied Nuts and Seeds will pick you up when your energy is low! And believe it or not, they are a snack that is not only healthy but good for you.

Ingredients

  • 4 ounces almonds
  • 4 ounces cashews
  • 2 ounces pumpkin seeds
  • 2 ounces pine nuts
  • 3 tablespoons packed brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons maple sugar
  • Up to 1 tablespoon warm water

Instructions

  • Combine the sugars and water together in a small bowl.
  • You’ll want a smooth but still thick consistency.
  • Add the nuts and seeds and stir to fully coat everything.
  • Spread the mixture out onto a baking tray lined with parchment paper or a silicone mat.
  • Bake 400 degrees for about 12 to 15 minutes or just until the nuts and seeds are covered in a tiny layer of bubbling sugar.
  • Allow to fully cool before enjoying. Store well for a couple weeks in an air tight container.
